The Vision Behind AAVV
From as far back as I can remember, I dreamed of creating a system where people’s natural desire to help others could be harnessed and directed toward those who need it most. I envisioned our role as simply being the vessel—a trusted facilitator ensuring that aid reached the right hands. This is why we focus on transparency, allowing donors to see the impact they make and, hopefully, inspire them to continue giving.
The name AAVV carries deep personal significance. It represents four of the most important people in my life who shaped my understanding of love and service: Aline (my grandmother), Anisio (my grandfather), Valmen (my father), Vania (my sister)
These family members inspired me daily, each living by the values of selflessness and compassion.
My grandmother, with whatever little she had, always shared with those in need. My grandfather would give his sweater to someone on the street if they were cold. Every Sunday, my father would set aside some of the food my mother prepared to feed children living on the streets, often distributing shoes and clothes as well. My sister, a talented dentist, devoted countless hours to a center where she not only treated patients but also helped with cooking, delivering toys, and clothing to those in need.
God wants us to find our happiness and there is no greater happiness than to help someone who needs it.
